Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Provides ongoing analysis, monitoring, and administration for websites in the Division of Student Affairs, including the division's intranet.
Uses a content management system and builds and implements front-end and back-end solutions.
Develops user-centered websites and applications as needed.
Identifies and applies updates and upgrades to websites for effectiveness and usability.
Manages web-related projects from start to finish.
Researches and stay up to date with UX development techniques and university policies to improve visual appeal, performance, and overall user experience.
Performs user testing and consults with the division's Marketing and Communications team on how to apply feedback.
Serves as the division's point person for Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, exploring and operationalizing ways the division can best use the tools to achieve our goals.
Manages LiveWhale events calendar system, Machform, and Fireform for the division, ensuring digital accessibility with these tools.
Monitors metrics for the marketing and communications team on a variety of platforms.
General Responsibilities
Provides ongoing experienced analysis, monitoring, and administration of university website(s) and internal intranet sites.
Identifies and applies updates, upgrades, and patches and performs testing to ensure website effectiveness and usability.
Ensures compliance with university web and internet standards.
Documents user feedback and/or backup and recovery plans.
Analyzes and reports on web site performance metrics and performs user testing and/or usage analysis.
Consults with website stakeholders to determine appropriate web content and makes updates accordingly or as needed. Advises on software and system specifications needed and works with web designers and/or web developers to translate user requests into web-based solutions.

Strong organization and project management skills

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary
$47,500 - $50,000 per year based on experience
