We a re offering $15.50 a n hour based on experience.

Full Time (Nights a nd Weekends)

The Lakeland Ledger has immediate open ings for Plate Maker 1. Plates a re used to print newspapers a nd training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Load plates into imager, clean processor (weekly) a nd use computer to output/print offset printing plate
• Assist in setting up jobs in system a nd a ble to troubleshoot
• Able to work independently a nd with minimum direction
• Must be computer proficient. Ideally understanding offset printing a nd impositions. Plates a re used to print newspapers a nd training will be provided. Weekends a nd nights part of schedule.

Req uirements:

• GED/High School diploma.
• Good verbal communication skills req uired.
• Must be a ble to repetitively lift plates a nd chemistry weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be computer proficient.
