SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Engineer II.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP's Imaging Business Area is seeking a System Engineer with a focus onReliability who has knowledge of and experience with Integrated LogisticsSupport (ILS) within a US NAVY Non-Propulsion Electronic System (NPES) context.This person will support generation for many aspects related to sustainment.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Provide timely response to day-to-day Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) issues, data mining requests, ISEA and System Engineering issues relative to Reliability Engineering applications and reliability improvement efforts.
Conduct periodic reviews of RMA metrics furnished by various entities to identify trends, identify top RMA drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
Research, develop, and periodically update formal Reliability Improvement Plans for targeted Top Reliability Drivers.
Support the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Management Teams (DMT) by providing Reliability Engineering support to the team, investigating DMT cases and providing obsolescence case resolution (via white paper). Provide timely close-out resolution for DLA-339 obsolescence cases.
Lead point of contact working with the Failure Review Board (FRB), other RMA Working Groups (EMS IPT), and stakeholders supporting Reliability Engineering/Reliability Improvement efforts.
Provide a Reliability Growth Program Strategy Outline, current system performance assessment, and projected Reliability.
Planning and Tracking Curves to support periodic Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) updates.
Develop Life Cycle Supportability Projections for targeted components to assess the supportability health of obsolete parts and supportability drivers as identified by NSWC-Corona.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in technical field with 3 years ofprofessional experience in a technical field.
Experience: 3 years of experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Well versed in the software applications associated toMicrosoft Office and Adobe Acrobat at minimum.
Good communication skills are a must.
Ability to hold a secret clearance is required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
