SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified RF Engineer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP's Imaging Business Area has an immediate opening for an RF Engineer with a solid background of Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) systemsfrom an ‘end-to-end’ perspective. The ideal candidate shall conduct systems/system of systems (SoS) architecture design, testing, implementation, integration, review, and certification activities for Submarine EW and BLQ-10 system.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Conduct data analyses to include interpreting and summarizing results.
Design, develop, test, evaluate, and sustain various Radio Frequency (RF) and Tactical Data Link (TDL) communication systems.
Develop technical documentation such as test plans and reports.
Apply a full range of disciplines pertinent to communication systems capabilities such as requirements analysis, systems engineering, interface design, logistics, training, reliability and maintainability, human factors, and T&E to complete assigned duties.
Leverage principles such as communications theory, modulation systems, engineering design, testing, and system-level communications (e.g. link budgets and modulation schemes and end-to-end RF product development) to complete assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ElectronicEngineering is recommended. In lieu of educational criteria, significanttechnical work experience such as active-duty military or prior work in thisarea is acceptable.
Experience: Applicant shouldhave minimum of 3 years of experience.
Position will require some overnight travel,estimated 5% in a given year.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills.
Able to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and wiring tables.
Must be able to use O-scope/Digital Voltmeter, Network Analyzers and Signal Generators.
Understanding of Radio Frequency plots desired.
Software experience with Linux, C++, Oracle, JAVA, & HTML a plus. Experience with Fiber Optic a plus.
Individual should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite Software.
Have knowledge of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP’s) and Engineering Change Instructions (ECI’s) as they relate to the Submarine EW systems and perform the necessary maintenance, test, repair, modification, and updating of shipboard equipment and components per GFI drawings as called out in the ECP/ECI’s.
Ability to familiarize themselves with all EW system hardware including understanding commonality between the various systems.
Experience working with performance specifications and familiar with modeling tools.
Experience with Cameo and Operator Machine Interface design a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
