Job Description:



The Division of Infectious Diseases and the Center for Innovative Antimicrobial Therapy, Department of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine invite applications for an appointment stream faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should have an MD/DO or PhD in Epidemiology, Virology, or Microbiology and an interest in innovative research and novel approaches to treating antibiotic-resistant infections including new small molecules, pre-clinical animal models, pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling, bacteriophage therapy, and/or other alternative therapeutics. Ongoing or anticipated R01 or equivalent funding is required. Startup resources and compensation are available commensurate with experience.
