Role Overview:
As a Lead Generation Specialist at Verity, you will engage mortgage industry professionals through outbound calls, prospecting, and targeted outreach. Your goal is to pinpoint organizations that can benefit from Verity's back office support and automation tools. You will leverage detailed training to understand industry pain points and articulate how Verity's solutions offer efficiency, compliance, and cost advantages. Your success will be rewarded with a competitive base salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Lead Generation & Cold Calling:
Initiate daily outbound calls to mortgage lenders, credit unions, and financial institutions, positioning Verity's services and solutions.
Quickly identify key decision-makers (operations managers, loan processors, underwriting supervisors) and highlight our value proposition.
Lead Qualification & Engagement:
Qualify leads by assessing their current loan volumes, operational challenges, and interest in outsourced or automated workflows.
Maintain ongoing communication to nurture relationships, provide case studies, and address initial questions or concerns.
Market Research & Prospecting:
Utilize industry databases, mortgage industry publications, and LinkedIn to source prospective clients.
Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and seasonal cycles affecting mortgage lending activity.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Partner with sales and product teams to refine outreach messaging and develop compelling value propositions.
Share market feedback, common objections, and emerging needs with internal stakeholders to improve service offerings.
CRM Management & Reporting:
Accurately record all prospect interactions, call notes, and next steps in the CRM.
Prepare regular reports on lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline progress for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 2+ years of lead generation or inside sales experience, preferably within financial services, mortgage lending, or BPO/KPO environments.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mortgage processes and compliance standards is a plus; training will be provided.
Communication & Persuasion: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility, handle objections, and present complex solutions simply.
Persistence & Results-Driven: Comfortable making high-volume calls and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Attention to Detail: Proficient in managing multiple leads, updating CRM records, and following structured outreach campaigns.
