Position Summary: The Director of Total Rewards willdevelop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy that attracts, motivates, and retains talent while aligning with organizational goals and budget considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
Lead the design, delivery, implementation, communication and administration of the organization's benefit plans and programs as the subject matter expert including Health Plans (medical, dental, vision), Life/AD&D, Disability, Leave Programs & Policies, Workers Compensation claims, Flexible Spending Accounts, Commuter Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, 401(k), Workers Compensation and Osha reporting etc.
Lead vendor relationships and regularly evaluate optimal service and support.
Partner with cross functional team members in Payroll, Finance and Legal to manage and build out new plans or programs.
Wellness Initiatives
Implement wellness initiatives that promote physical, mental, and financial health.
Coordinate employee assistance programs (EAPs), and on-site wellness events.
Employee feedback to improve offerings.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, ACA, ADA, ERISA
Maintain accurate documentation and processes and oversee audits as needed.
Compensation:
Design, analyze, and update compensation structures, including salary bands and incentive programs.
Conduct market analyses to ensure competitive pay practices.
Oversee annual salary review and merit processes.
Strategic Planning and Analytics:
Use data and analytics to assess program effectiveness and identify gaps and/or opportunities.
Forecast trends and recommend enhancements to ensure competitiveness with budgetary considerations.
Associate Communication:
Develop communication strategies to educate associates on the full value of their total rewards package.
Create engaging materials that explain benefits, compensation policies and recognition programs.
Recognition and Rewards:
Develop formal and informal recognition initiatives, such as service awards or alternative programs.
Align recognition programs with company values and strategic goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 10 years of benefits management/administration in a large multi-state organization
Effective communication skills with critical attention-to-detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience leading and managing a team.
Highly collaborative
Experience with ADP Workforce Now benefits platform and/or other related.
Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel skills.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary Range $125,000 - $155,000
