System Engineer

Location: San Antonio Texas (onsite)

6 month contract with high potential to extend or convert

The Role:

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Server Management: Manage and maintain Windows Server environments
• Cloud Migration: Partner with the CTO to develop and execute a cloud migration strategy for multiple office locations.
• Disaster Recovery (DR): Develop and implement a comprehensive DR plan to ensure business continuity.
• Network Security: Manage firewalls, VPNs, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to safeguard our network.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• User Support: Provide basic IT support to internal staff.

You are a perfect fit if you have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Strong understanding of Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud (e.g., Azure).
