Oversee the operations of the construction site, from planning to completion.
Coordinate subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Be responsible for all job site safety (OSHA 10 minimum recommended).
Possess excellent document record-keeping skills.
Schedule and maintain quality control using checklists to ensure job site quality.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and organized.
Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 5+ years of experience in multi-family construction.
A Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science is a plus.
Possess general computer knowledge.
Be proficient in blueprint reading.
Have endurance and the ability to visit the entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
Monitor job site general health and safety.
Maintain a professional customer service attitude and appearance.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
