Job Purpose
Oakland Promise seeks a creative and collaborative Manager of Partnership with excellent organizational, communication, and systems management skills along with a passion for expanding opportunities for Oakland children and families. The Senior Manager of Partnerships will be an innovative and dynamic team member tasked with creating new partnerships to generate new programming or resources for all students and families. This role will advocate for the program teams' needs and support logistics and communication, as well as create cohesive and collaborative systems to generate internal and external efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and implement a framework for engaging, managing, and onboarding community, educational, and nonprofit partnerships for program teams and organization
Manage OCI Request for Proposal process in collaboration with program teams and finance
Serve as liaison to Oakland Postsecondary and Workforce Collaborative and project manage related-grants (currently the Hellman Grant)
Develop and implement process for utilizing Salesforce system for tracking and managing partnership opportunities
Support integration of partnerships into the existing OP program and organizational wide structure
Support developing and execution of partner engagement events and convenings
Review and track formal contracts, agreements, and MOUs to maintain compliance with external partners
Create and maintain an evaluation and feedback loop process for internal and external stakeholders to review the beneficial qualities of partnerships
Cultivate a creative and collaborative space with internal stakeholders to generate new partnerships that will benefit all stakeholders
Representing Oakland Promise in external collaboratives and projects as directed by the organization
Support program teams and Development team with implementing and executing workforce development opportunities
Support with coordination and planning of Oakland Promise events involving external stakeholders and partners
Other duties as assigned by Oakland Promise
Required Qualifications
Enjoys being in community and regularly attends events, celebrations, and social activities led by community organizations
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines
Excellent communication and writing skills
Deep commitment to and passion for the vision of Oakland Promise
Strong self-motivation and ability to operate effectively with limited direct management
Preferred Qualifications
Previous partnerships and outreach experience
Knowledge of collaboration strategy with diverse stakeholders
Proficient with Salesforce
Experience in the fields of education
Knowledge of and connections to Oakland communities
Compensation:
Full-time, exempt position
The salary range for this role is $79,500-$90,000 based on skill sets and experience

Some evening and weekend hours may be required
