Express Employment Professionals of Durham is looking to expand our team with the addition of a Front Office Coordinator.
Express in Durham/RTP is a small office that provides contract staffing and recruitment services to local businesses throughout Durham and Orange Counties. We are locally-owned, woman-owned, and have been doing business in Durham for 27 years.
As a Front Office Coordinator, you would support our small team of recruiters by creating a positive first impression for all customers and clients, whether over the phone or in our office. Your goal is to ensure all administrative activities and incoming calls flow smoothly.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an hour for lunch. Compensation is $18-$20/hour, depending on qualifications. This is a temporary contract position with the opportunity to start immediately, but it can grow into a permanent position for the right person.
Responsibilities Include:
Answering calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Quickly determining a caller's needs and routing calls as necessary.
Addressing some caller's questions or needs yourself, as able.
Welcoming walk-in applicants and quickly identifying their needs.
Conducting cursory "interviews" with both call-in and walk-in applicants, to determine if our firm is able to assist with their job search.
Document your communications in our software, as necessary.
Monitor text messages in our general inbox and respond or redirect to other staff accordingly.
Monitor emails in our general inbox and respond or redirect to other staff accordingly.
Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
We're looking for someone with strong written and verbal communication skills, who works well independently, and who is comfortable working in a small office environment.
