The Autocad Designer will be responsible for designing and developing engineering solutions for various projects within the energy and utilities sector. Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings using AutoCAD for various energy and utility projects.
Convert existing 2-D standards drawings, schematics, control line diagrams to 3-D intelligent drawings.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and timelines.
Perform technical calculations and analysis to support design decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
Conduct design reviews and ensure all designs adhere to quality and safety standards.
Communicate with internal clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Engineering or certificate from an AutoCAD program
0-3 years of experience in design engineering, within the energy and utilities sector is a plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with other design software such as SolidWorks or Revit is a plus.
Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
