Metairie: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to input and manage data accurately and efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of our data systems and supports multiple departments within the organization.
Essential Duties
Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases, spreadsheets, and systems.
Verify data accuracy and address inconsistencies through coordination with relevant departments.
Conduct regular quality checks on data to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
Organize, manage, and archive digital and physical documents systematically.
Generate reports and summaries as required for internal and external use.
Identify trends, anomalies, or errors in data for resolution or further analysis.
Assist in developing and improving data entry and management processes.
Requirements/Skills
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or an associate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role.
Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and database systems.
Skills:
Strong typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 50+ WPM preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing software, and data management tools.
Effective communication and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally for document handling or storage purposes.
