Job Description:

Purpose:

The Coordinator, Production Training is responsible for ensuring that plant employees are properly trained in job skills, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety requirements. This role includes ensuring that all training records are accurately maintained and comply with regulatory standards. The Coordinator will also ensure that training is aligned with plant procedures and supports operational efficiency, safety, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Record Maintenance: Review, update, and maintain accurate and current training records. Ensure training documents align with GMP compliance and accuracy standards. Run reports and maintain records in the training tracking system.
  • Training Delivery: Train personnel on equipment operating procedures, documentation practices, and GMP as required.
  • Facilitate Onboarding and Safety Training: Facilitate onboarding sessions, system access, and safety training for new and existing employees.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all plant employees are up-to-date on the training required for their tasks, and ensure that training is properly documented per cGMP guidelines.
  • Support Qualified Trainers: Maintain and support qualified area trainers to assist with ongoing training needs.
  • Training Documentation Development: Collaborate with area management to develop and maintain training documentation such as materials, qualifications, assessments, modules, curriculums, and records.
  • Training System Troubleshooting: Understand and troubleshoot issues related to the training system, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Assess and Communicate Training Needs: Interact with various levels of the organization to assess and communicate training needs and progress.
  • Project Management: Work on various projects as assigned by management to support operational and training goals.
  • Quality System Maintenance: Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the plant's quality system to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training role, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to interact effectively with diverse groups across different levels of the organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems in a regulated environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with FDA regulations.

Top Skills Required:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a training role, preferably in a manufacturing environment with FDA standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience with the implementation and maintenance of quality systems.
