Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Identify and participate in continuous product design improvement projects.
- Identify and participate in engineering and manufacturing process improvement projects.
- Create and maintain BOMs, wiring schematics, and piping schematics.
- Assist in updating product BOMs in ERP system.
- Assist in the design, manufacturing, and testing of custom systems.
- Source and qualify components for new designs.
- Document the components, assembly specifications, and processes required to transition products from the engineering phase to production.
- Provide engineering support to the manufacturing floor for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of new systems.
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with a strong mechanical background).
- Experience in refrigeration, heating and cooling, or chillers
- Ability to work with customers
- CAD experience
