PantrySoft is a web-based application designed to support the operations of food pantries and food banks. The application includes a CRM component to record details about the households and individuals served, tools for tracking services provided, inventory management, and scheduling. Our clients range from small church basement operations to municipalities, universities, and large social service agencies.
We are looking for a marketing manager to help build brand awareness and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for developing and implementing marketing campaigns across channels for B2B SaaS, ideally in the nonprofit space. We need someone who can both develop strategies, and perform the day to day implementation, including the creative elements of writing copy, and producing graphics.
Objectives of this role
Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
Design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics across channels (web, email, social, etc.)
Lead the charge in branding conversations, likely working with outside agencies
Manage company branding assets across website, platform, marketing collateral, conference materials, etc.
Create marketing content including copywriting and digital media.
Responsibilities
Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
Create and manage content and updates for customer touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
Actively seek new markets and opportunities to engage with those markets (online webinars, live conferences, etc.)
Arm the sales team with assets to better engage prospective clients (email assets, case studies, customer testimonials, physical assets, etc.)
Required skills and qualifications
Proven success in developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
Strong copywriting, design, and editing skills for newsletters, social media posts, and advertising materials
Ability to create visually appealing marketing materials, including graphics, infographics, and presentations
Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva
Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
Experience with SEO and content optimization
Experience building and managing Google Adword campaigns
Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and campaign creation
Willingness to travel
