Our client, a global asset management firm, is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management Team. The firm covers Equities, Multi-asset, Fixed Income, and Leveraged Credit products. The individual will provide risk guidance and implement a strong risk management framework, including assessing the design and operational effectiveness of critical processes and controls of the business. This includes assessing and enhancing governance and risk frameworks, benchmarking to market standards, analyzing current vs. future states, and documenting policies and procedures. Candidates must have experience working in an Investment Management environment. Involvement in internal control reporting (SOC1) type engagement is a bonus.
Requirements:
At least seven years of experience developing and/or executing non-financial risk management frameworks, benchmarking to market standards.
A strong understanding of business control environments and technology, including assessment of control design and operating model reviews.
Experience in the US Investment Management industry, including regulated 40 Act funds and other vehicles subject to Federal securities rules and regulations.
