Title: Event Technology Specialist

Company: Leading Cloud-Based CRM and Technology Innovator

Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)

Rate: $30-35/hour + Benefits (Swoon covers 50% of benefits)

Summary:

A leading global technology company is seeking an Event Technology Specialist to join its Marketing Department's Event Technology organization. This role supports cutting-edge event management tools, including digital experience platforms, to ensure seamless global user experiences. The Event Technology Specialist will assist the Splash Program Manager in delivering exceptional onboarding, enablement, marketing compliance, and operational solutions for internal teams.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical user support for event technology needs, particularly during high-demand periods for large-scale global events.
  • Collaborate with program managers to address global user requirements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Drive user intake, onboarding, and enablement for digital experience platforms.
  • Create and maintain clear training materials to empower internal users.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing and operational standards.
  • Act as a key contributor to the success of global digital and event initiatives.

Typical Day & Interaction with Team:
  • Respond to and resolve user requests related to event technology platforms.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding sessions and training materials for internal teams.
  • Partner with marketing and operations teams to align platform updates with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and address platform issues, ensuring smooth user experiences.
  • Support major event initiatives by managing and scaling operational workflows.

Skills & Education Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in creating and delivering training materials.
  • Experience working with digital platforms or event technology tools.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and multitasking capabilities.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly learn new tools.

Teachable Skills:
  • Marketing Operations processes.
  • In-depth understanding of the Splash platform or similar event technology tools.

Nice to Haves:
  • Hands-on experience with the Splash platform or other event management technologies.
  • Background in marketing or event-related projects.
  • Proven experience in training delivery or instructional material creation.

Disqualifiers:
  • Inability to work onsite in San Francisco 4 days per week.
  • Lack of foundational experience with platforms or event technology tools.
