Venture University (VU) is an "Investor Accelerator", a leading educational institution designed to equip the next generation of investors through an immersive venture capital cohort program. Participants gain hands-on experience, build an investment track record, and access a global network of industry experts, alumni, and partners.
Role Overview:
The Program Manager will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional experience for VU's cohort participants. This individual will coordinate and enhance every aspect of the program journey, from onboarding to alumni engagement, while fostering a high level of participant satisfaction and program effectiveness. Working closely with partners and participants globally, the Program Manager will also build community connections and maintain relationships to ensure a thriving, engaged alumni network.
Key Responsibilities:
Participant Engagement & Experience: • Ensure seamless onboarding and guide participants throughout their program journey, ensuring smooth access to all necessary tools and resources. • Coordinate live and virtual curriculum schedules, guest speakers, fireside chats, and events . • Actively gather feedback to improve participant satisfaction, driving continuous improvements that foster positive outcomes and higher satisfaction metrics. • Maintain proactive communication to ensure participants feel supported throughout the cohort.
Community & Alumni Network Building: • Develop meaningful community experiences for current participants and alumni through events and networking opportunities. • Organize and manage alumni-focused events, including workshops, reunions, and mentoring sessions, to encourage long-term engagement and connection with the VU network. • Establish and maintain relationships with alumni, encouraging involvement as mentors, speakers, or community leaders.
International Outreach & Recruitment: • Collaborate with international partners to attract high-caliber participants from diverse regions. • Maintain close relationships with VU's overseas partners to ensure strong student recruitment pipelines each quarter.
Key Qualifications: • Experience: 2-5 years in program management, operations, education, or community engagement. • People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and foster connections with diverse individuals. • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, with experience coordinating complex schedules and managing multiple priorities. • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, make decisions, and address issues with minimal supervision. • Global Perspective: Experience working with international teams or partners is a plus. • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Driven to gather feedback, analyze outcomes, and make data-informed improvements to increase satisfaction and participation.
