We are a boutique accounting firm known for delivering personalized, high-quality financial services to our clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our dedicated team and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will:
Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, and estates.
Handle bookkeeping and financial management for a diverse client base.
Engage in frequent correspondence with clients and federal/state tax authorities to ensure compliance and resolve inquiries.
Provide expert preparation of individual tax returns and manage complex tax scenarios.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 years of tax return preparation experience, preferably in a CPA firm setting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with Lacerte tax software (or similar).
Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach to service.
Experience with multi-state returns (preferred but not required).
International tax experience (e.g., Forms 3520, 3520-A, 5471) is a plus but not essential.
Real estate industry expertise for tax preparation and consulting.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary: $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience.
