Estimator Position Overview The Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects. The main objective is to help ensure that construction projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs
Prepare cost estimates for construction projects by gathering and analyzing data
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material and labor expenses
Collaborate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to review and finalize cost estimates
Maintain accurate records of cost estimates and update as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for construction projects
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Proficiency in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Excel and estimating software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
