Principal Consultant - PFAS Investigation/Remediation Location: 100% Remote or in office if preferred (multiple offices across USA)
Position Overview We are looking for a Principal Consultant to lead business development & project management efforts in Site Solutions, particularly focusing on PFAS investigation and remediation. The ideal candidate will have a strong client portfolio, experience managing consulting projects, and a collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive business, mentor staff, and work with agencies and organizations to develop risk-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue business opportunities.
Ability to generate revenue to support themselves
Manage projects, client relationships, and regulatory engagements.
Showcase thought leadership through presentations, webinars, client alerts, and participation in professional and trade group meetings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues across business units.
Mentor staff and promote professional development.
Other duties as needed
Specialty Areas Related To PFAS May Encompass
Expert services for the legal sector (e.g., litigation support).
Site investigation and remediation.
Risk assessment and forensics.
Cost allocation strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on PFAS investigation and remediation.
Strong knowledge of PFAS, their environmental impacts, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience in project management and business development within the environmental sector.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with risk assessment, ecological assessments, and site remediation processes.
