Tax Manager We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team and provide tax advice to our clients. This position requires an individual with advanced knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures, and the ability to handle a large workload effectively. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills and the experience and abilities necessary to deliver quality services to our clients.
Position Overview: The Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing federal and state tax returns. This position requires an individual who can work independently, is detail-oriented, and is able to stay current on tax law changes. Tax Manager will also provide tax advice to clients to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review corporate, partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, and individual tax returns
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Conduct research and provide tax advice to clients on various tax matters
Work with clients to identify and implement tax savings opportunities
Respond to notices and inquiries from the Internal Revenue Service and other tax authorities
Assist with the preparation of tax projections and estimates
Assist with the preparation of financial statements related to taxes
Assist with the preparation of tax audits and appeals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience in S-Corp, C-Corp, HNW, and Generalist tax
CPA designation preferred
Advanced knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle a large workload efficiently with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
