Position Overview The Civil Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate civil construction projects from inception to completion.
Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate effective collaboration.
Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring efficiency and quality control throughout the construction process.
Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify any potential issues or improvements.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and competencies.
Ensure the availability of skilled personnel and resources to meet project demands.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of site management, underground utility construction, and civil engineering principles.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to foster positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to make decisions based on local knowledge and industry standards.
Commitment to personal growth and continuing education in construction management and best practices.
A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
