We are seeking an experienced Lead Firmware Engineer to join a Denver based Satellites company, focused on developing next-generation radar satellites company
You will lead firmware development, particularly for FPGAs, from architecture through to final deployment.
Lead Firmware Engineer Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test firmware for advanced FPGA-based sensor products.
Oversee the firmware lifecycle: from requirements gathering to implementation and integration.
Work with high-performance FPGAs (Xilinx Ultrascale+, etc.), transceivers, and associated tools like Vivado.
Ensure firmware quality assurance using a CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with software QA engineers.
Lead cross-functional teams and conduct design reviews to optimize system performance.
Lead Firmware Engineer Requirements:
BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
15+ years of experience in firmware development, particularly FPGA design and high-speed transceivers (PCIE, 10GigE).
Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog and experience with Agile development practices.
Experience in embedded systems, Python scripting, and Linux environments.
