ROLE SUMMARY

 

The Ig Portfolio Senior Manager position will be responsible for supporting the strategic recommendations and analytical assessments governing the Ig Portfolio. The Ig portfolio is the growth driver of US Hospital, with +21% CAGR since 2019. This is the third largest portfolio in the Specialty Business Unit at approximately $800M annual revenue.

 

The Ig Portfolio Senior Manager will play a critical role in the management of our cross functional team including Finance, PGS, Buyer Decision Support and Customer Facing Analytics. He/She will be responsible for making key recommendations on the business based on internal and external data including performance, market trends, pricing strategy and chargebacks. He/She will also support our engagement with an external licensing partner, including managing purchases and working with PGS on Supply.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Analysis and strategic recommendations of business performance and market trends
  • Helps to lead and support efforts across Pfizer to ensure sound executional plans in alignment with the Portfolio Lead and a cross functional team including finance, PGS, Buyer Decision Support, Customer Facing Analytics
  • Providing sound pricing analysis and recommendations including forecasting ASP.
  • Leads the coordination, analysis and accuracy of data from all sources - IQVIA Laad, purchased Specialty Pharmacy Data, Payer and Reimbursement data, etc.
  • Responsible for supporting the relationship with external license partner, Octapharma, aligning on supply requirements, pricing and volume for Ig supply.
  • Aligns with finance and PGS on supply forecasts and latest estimates etc.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, science or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years in commercial finance and marketing, selling or contracting for pharmaceutical products, preferably in the Alt Site, Hospital and GPO space
  • Minimum of 6 years in commercial finance role preferably within pharmaceuticals
  • Experience with Specialty Infusion Pharmacies is preferred
  • Experience with Infused, Injectable or HCP administered Drugs is helpful
  • Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and analysis
  • Experience with performance analysis, competitive and market trends and pricing analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects (multitask) involving complex processes, competing deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities
  • Experience forecasting and managing supply
  • Strong organization and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the cross-functional and Triad team (portfolio, finance, HCA)
  • Deep analytical expertise including leveraging data sources, identifying, and applying analytical tools such as chargeback trending, customer buying behavior and 3rd party claims data all utilized within excel or tableau
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Mastery

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
