We are looking for a Maintenance Parts Clerk to join our rapidly expanding team in the Portland area. The Maintenance Parts Clerk contributes to our mission by acquiring materials, including vendor relations and vendor performance, purchasing agreements and negotiations with continuous improvement of all purchasing activities.
Schedules are typically Monday - Friday 6:00am-3:30pm
Starting pay is $24.00/hour

Responsibilities
Receive and unpack items to be stocked and record data
Attention to detail when stocking items in an orderly manner
Maintains supply flow of parts and equipment
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment to stay compliant with safety regulations
Maintains records pertaining to items purchased, cost, delivered and prepares monthly reports
Communicates defective unacceptable goods or services and expedites delivery of raw materials and goods
Maintains inventory and supply room operations and assures that proper inventories are maintained
Compares inventories to records or computes figures from orders, production records or purchase order to obtain current inventory
Prepares reports such as inventory balance, price and cost lists, shortages, and depleted items, defective or unusable items and vendor performances
Work closely with MRO Buyer and Scheduler/Planner
Conducts weekly cycle counts
Generate JDE workorders for parts being checked out
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the procurement field
Must possess the ability to read and understand parts manuals
High Organization and attention to detail
Ability to work with numbers accurately
Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong sense of urgency
Ability to communicate effectively with all plant levels and suppliers
