Job Description

Business Insights Analyst:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Data Insights Analyst to join our team. This role will involve analyzing and interpreting business data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. In addition, the candidate will support basic customer service duties, ensuring clients' needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Maintain, collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify trends and patterns in data to help optimize business processes and strategies.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis and support decision-making across various departments.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.

Business Insights:

• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to enhance business operations, improve performance, and increase profitability.
• Support cross-functional teams by delivering data-driven insights that address business challenges.
• Work closely with leadership to understand business objectives and align data analysis to support those goals.

Customer Service Duties:

• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner via phone, email, or chat.
• Assist customers with data-related queries, reports, and insights, ensuring they understand the information provided.
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
• Escalate more complex customer issues to appropriate teams when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. In absence of a degree, extensive work experience applies.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Ability to present complex data in an easily understandable format.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mentality.
