Division Specific Information
Our Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) business is a pivotal part of the Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD). We craft and produce world-class tools that enable scientists and engineers to deliver semiconductor innovations globally, accepting equivalent experience in addition to an MSD.
The Position
The Staff Program Manager in Fremont, CA, is a critical leadership position, responsible for defining, planning, executing, and deploying capital equipment development projects from inception to customer adoption.
Specific Work associated with this opportunity include
Plan and complete one or more programs/projects with cross-functional challenges. Lead teams with a passion to win!
Define, develop, and deliver semiconductor capital equipment hardware/software products/solutions according to our development process, schedule, and budget.
Conduct detailed schedule analysis of critical paths to identify key technical and schedule risks and establish mitigation activities. Proficiency in MS Project or agile tools is required.
Establish a common understanding of how and why the program introduces differentiated products and services. Align the team to project timelines, achievements, budgets, and expectations on delivery.
Assess project/program performance, identify problems, and institute corrective actions. Build and present reports to senior management, reinforcing team operating principles.
Partner with Product Marketing and management to develop long-term strategic plans to increase and improve business opportunities.
Lead and/or participate in other cross-functional projects. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff as needed.
Qualifications
BS in Physics, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience is required; MS or PhD or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Proven experience in leading development programs from concept through commercialization.
Confirmed experience using standard program management tools, including development plans, timelines, risk management, and budget development.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to acquire a valid passport and travel internationally as needed.
Independent and creative problem solver with minimal oversight. A self-starter who motivates, demonstrates tact, and possesses strong leadership skills.
Ability to influence people at all levels in the organization without authority and mentor new team members.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $123,800.00-$170,000.00.
