Associate Attorney - Wrongful Death Elder Abuse Litigation
A respected plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its fully remote team. Specializing in wrongful death elder abuse cases, this role offers the opportunity to handle complex, precedent-setting cases with a focus on substantive court appearances and litigation work. The ideal candidate is sharp, adaptable, and has a strong command of California civil procedure and/or elder abuse law.
Position Details
Practice Area: Plaintiff-side personal injury, specifically wrongful death elder abuse.
Location: Fully remote, must be based in California (occasional travel for court appearances may be required).
Experience Required: 5+ years of litigation experience.
Compensation: $140,000-$180,000 per year.

Responsibilities
Manage a docket of 35 wrongful death elder abuse cases.
Prepare and make court appearances for substantive litigation work.
Work closely with a hard-driving partner who has tried precedent-setting cases.
Gain mentorship from a partner passionate about training sharp, independent attorneys.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of California civil procedure and/or elder abuse law (both preferred).
Ability to work independently and pick up new concepts quickly.
Previous experience in mass tort or high-volume pre-litigation environments is not ideal for this role.
