Market Research Associate, Structured Finance BRM - New York

Fitch Ratings is seeking a Market Research Associate (MRA) for our Structured Finance Business Relationship Management group. This position will work closely with Structured Finance senior management and team members to achieve the strategic goals of the team.

We'll Count on You To:


  • Update market research, create presentations, and develop competitive intelligence materials.
  • Assist in the group's electronic research distribution efforts and market share analysis.
  • Support the creation of Structured Finance deal opportunities and fee arrangements.
  • Prepare business development reports and participate in external meetings with bankers and issuers and attend industry conferences.

What You Need to Have:


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing or Economics.
  • 0-1 year of relevant work experience; knowledge of debt capital markets is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience using Salesforce is an added plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $65,000 and $80,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
