Overview:
Join a respected and progressive commercial construction firm as a Senior Estimator. This critical role focuses on providing detailed and accurate project estimates, ensuring the seamless execution of diverse construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to influence our business growth directly and collaborate with a supportive team that values innovation and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive estimates for various contract types, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Review and finalize bids and budgets, collaborating closely with the Director of Estimating.
Engage in constructability reviews with clients and architects, enhancing project feasibility and design integration.
Participate actively in the preconstruction process, including cost trend monitoring and value engineering.
Coordinate with project management teams to align construction schedules and logistics.
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial estimating, particularly in industrial sectors.
Strong proficiency in Planswift, Procore, Primavera P6, Building Connected, and Sage 300.
Six plus years of relevant experience with a preference for candidates holding a degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
