Job Summary
The Opportunity:
Patient Care Associate - Electrophysiology Lab Periprocedural Unit.


Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.


The EP Lab is seeking full time PCA with day and evening rotation shifts. This are is open M-F from 6am-8:30pm, with possible expansion to 10pm.



Qualifications



Skills:



PCA assists patients with daily living needs, supervising & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and acquiring EKGs. Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, supervising patient safety, Patient transport to varies destinations, and always presenting in an encouraging manner.



Schedule:



Day/Eve shift, either 10 or 12hr shifts

Required: Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care! - Preferred: Licensed, certified or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR - Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
