Job Summary
Part time 10 hours per week! Great for Mothers hours! Tues and Thurs 4-8 and every other Saturday 745-1115 Under the administrative direction of the Mammography Supervisor, the Mammographer performs diagnostic Mammography procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, and procedures as assigned.
Qualifications
Required effective communication skills/ ability to build rapport with others. Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various software applications, including hospital specific applications, Microsoft Office, cell phone, pager. Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion. Maintain current CPR certification. Preferred One year of mammographer work experience. Required Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ ERT) Required. Required Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Mammography in the state of Massachusetts required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Mammography (ARRT)(M) required. CPR Certification required.
