Job Summary Outpatient Psychiatry, Mass General Brigham - Salem Hospital, Salem, MA
$10,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for non MGB affiliated candidates with Greater Than 2 Years Experience
We are looking for 20-40 hour outpatient psychotherapists to become valued members of our growing, dynamic psychiatry service. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults and families, and in assessing and providing therapy to patients with diverse clinical conditions.
Qualifications
Preference for independently licensed clinicians, candidates must be licensed in the State of Massachusetts (Ph.D./Psy.D., LICSW, LMHC); although unlicensed Masters level clinicians who are license eligible are also encouraged to apply
The therapist will perform clinical intake assessments, individual and group therapy with patients, provide parent training and family support
Complete documentation and other required paperwork such as treatment plans, progress notes, clinical summaries, and other documentation in an organized and timely manner using our electronic medical records system (EPIC) in accordance with hospital policies
Preference for those individuals who have experience with CBT and DBT skill sets, group and short-term therapy models.
The clinician will participate in a multidisciplinary team with a flexible, creative approach to addressing the needs of this lively population and engage in weekly group consultation. Clinicians working in Pediatric Psychiatry have close collaboration with Urgent Care, Neurodevelopment, Pedi Inpatient and PHP, and community-based pediatricians.

Some opportunities to provide teaching /individual supervision may be available.
Clinicians are allowed to develop a small private practice after hours at our outpatient clinic.

Mass General Brigham Psychiatry service includes 120 inpatient beds, child and adult PHPs, Neurodevelopment, IOP, and three very busy outpatient clinics. There is an extensive and full psychiatric service covering all levels of psychiatric care. MGB-Salem Hospital is a member of the Mass General Brigham network that includes MGH, Brigham & Women's, McLean, and other MGB institutions.
