Overview
• Project Manager to join a high performing project delivery team operating across the MGB service network.
• Projects could include inpatient and outpatient, research lab, educational, and administrative space types. Also building infrastructure upgrades or replacement.
• The Project Manager will assist Senior Project Manager with their daily responsibilities on major capital projects that could exceed $100M.
• Project Manager will independently manage projects with a cumulative value of $10M to $25M under the direction of a Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities
• Manages capital projects from design through construction, occupancy and financial close-out.
• Develops and manages project scope, budget and schedule.
• Develops and manages a project team comprised of facility administration, architects, engineers, landscape architects, interior designers, signage consultants, low-voltage system consultants, and MGB Digital (IT) in the development of project plans and specifications.
• Integrates MGB design, engineering and sustainability standards into project design.
• Manages the bid process to select a construction manager to implement the project.
• Manages the progress of construction, reporting potential impacts to schedule, scope or budget before they are unavoidable.
• Coordinates the delivery and installation of project furnishings and equipment.
• Utilizes MGB Real Estate's project management systems including Unifier, PeopleSoft, ProCore, Primavera and other similar systems.
• Coordinates financial management of the project budget with the client and MGB's Projects Control team.
• Prepares and make presentations to internal stakeholders.
• Maintains accurate and current status reports on all projects under the PM's responsibility.
• Reviews and processes payment invoices from consultants and construction managers in accordance with MGB and departmental standards.
