The Chikina Group is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join an exciting, funded project focused on developing interpretable and factorized deep learning models for diverse genomics applications. These applications span areas such as gene expression, epigenetics, and sequence-to-function modeling. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge computational approaches, including designing novel mathematical formulations and deep learning architectures to address predictive genomics challenges.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating unconventional solutions to advance the field of computational genomics and is expected to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of computational biologists, machine learning experts, and experimental researchers.
