The Vice President is a critical member of the Wealth Management Team and is the firm's face to the market. The principal role of the VP is to constantly develop new clients and raise assets for the firm, and maintain a close, ongoing relationship with their existing base of clients.
Qualifications
Is a professional with approximately 10 years of work experience (at a minimum).
Is energetic and an entrepreneurial business builder, who thrives and excels in a competitive marketplace, and is a proven asset gatherer.
Has an existing network and demonstrates the ability to continue to grow and recreate networks both professionally and personally.
Is a natural connector and is actively involved in his/her community.
Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain relationships with centers of influence such as attorneys, accountants and business advisors.
Is not intimidated by significant wealth and welcomes the opportunity to be around these individuals.
Has provided advice to clients before, and is viewed by clients as a trusted advisor, not only with financial decisions but for important life and business decisions.
Is trustworthy and has personal integrity that is beyond reproach.
Sees the world through the lens of opportunity, not obstacles. He/she values professional success as much as financial success. Is competitive, and internally motivated.
Is intellectually curious and has a passion and true interest in the capital markets.
Is an excellent communicator and has tremendous interpersonal skills; he/she has personal presence and exceptional formal and informal presentations skills.
He/she has strong practice management skills, and brings a disciplined and organized process which is applied consistently to their practice.
Is relentless, working tirelessly on clients' behalf, going the "extra mile" to assure clients' needs are met.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn, is attentive to details, and has the capacity to use critical thinking to solve problems.
In addition to demonstrating professional achievement, strong academic credentials are preferred. (Bachelor's degree required, post-graduate degree not required)
