E. B. Mahoney Builders is looking for a motivated and high performing Assistant Project Manager to join the team.

This hand-on role entails working in conjunction with project managers, sub-contractors, and job Supervisors to develop plans, set schedules, and complete projects in accordance to time and budget expectations.

The right candidate must value attention to detail, communicate effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and requires daily site visits. Remote work arrangements are not an option for this role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational execution and client expectations of national projects from inception to successful completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to establish cost estimates, maintain budgets, and procure materials. This includes management of bidding and streamlining of contract estimates, WA's, CO's, PO's.
  • Coordinate work specified in WA's. This includes scheduling with contractors, corresponding with clients, and overseeing work to completion.
  • Advise clients on design selections and ensure all client needs are met.
  • Coordinate client meetings and selections appointments. Keep organized notes and maintain accountability of action items.
  • Create and manage an engaging online presence including select social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and keep company website up to date by updating with completed projects.
  • Host and take meeting minutes for all conference calls.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials. Receive to site or warehouse, document, and label.
  • Meet contractors on-site for service calls, coordinate visits with client.

Ideal Experience:
  • Experience in architectural, construction, or design-related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Will bring experience with client service and an ability to interact professionally and comfortably with various personalities and working manners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word & Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in Adobe Design Suite and 3D modeling programs including SketchUp.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and specs is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
