This position is responsible for conducting activities related to outreach, recruitment, program development and oversight with a focus on dual enrollment students. This position reports to the Senior Director of Enrollment Development.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinates scheduling for all required dual enrollment information sessions which includes monitoring attendance and CCPS high school registration
Manages the off-site Dual Enrollment efforts at local high schools
Manages dual enrollment forms, registrations, rosters; keeps CCPS informed of their students’ registrations
Meets with dual enrollment students to assist with course selection
Manages mid-term and final dual enrollment students for CCPS students/monitors withdraws
Develops rapport and maintains strong relationships with high school counselors to support enrollment development
Organize and lead dual advisory board & steering committee meetings
Organizes and facilitates a streamlined dual enrollment process on campus and off site at high school campuses
Meets with CCPS liaisons to coordinate efforts
Schedules and assigns staff for dual enrollment related orientation and regular functions
Coordinates and facilitates at CCPS new student orientation/welcome sessions including tech set up and additional tech support for student class support.
Maintains, organizes and facilitates transcripted credit students with CCPS
Maintains and updates required recorded presentations for parents and students to view process and policies
Negotiates dates with CCPS to coordinate at CCPS onsite classes for upcoming semesters and finalizes in Carroll’s course schedule
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements to Perform Work
Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience working in a College Student Affairs environment or closely related field including Admissions, Advising, High School Counseling or other related field supporting student populations
Strong technology skills are essential for this position managing the dual enrollment student process and supporting rapidly changing technology to support student enrollment and registration in a fast-paced environment (i.e. MS Office/MS Teams, SharePoint etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Preferred
Admissions or Advising experience in a College or related environment
Experience advising students, class scheduling and helping them to understand their academic options
Ability to work in a complex environment and problem solve solutions
Prior experience working with dually enrolled students
Spanish/English fluency
Supplemental Information
This position will be placed on the College 12-month Exempt Staff salary scale at grade 102. Actual salary placement based on qualifications and experience. Position includes an excellent fringe benefit package.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is normally light work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
College campus, area high schools and related offsite locations. Direct contact with diverse students, staff, faculty and the general public in classrooms, common and shared areas, offices, and campus environments. Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as office, meeting, and training rooms; use of safe workplace practices with office equipment; computers for data entry and word processing with some highly technical applications and new technology systems; avoidance of trips and falls; observance of fire and building safety regulations and College policies. Observance of traffic laws if/when driving a College vehicle.
