This position will manage Campus Recreation's events, including scheduling, coordination with the customers, coordination across the department. All events from routine to last minute will be coordinated and tracked, even after event follow-up with the customer and the billing process and payment. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
55% - Essential - Utilizing scheduling software, manage reservation requests and enhance program procedures for Campus Recreation facilities. Report semester usage statistics. Manage department event invoicing and revenue collection. Coordinate with vendors providing custodial and security services to ensure they are prepared for the event, the services are executed and that the invoicing and billing is completed after the event.
25% - Essential - Develop and execute a highly functioning system for reservation of space, communication and preparation / return of space from all reservations. Ensure reservation information affecting participants and Campus Recreation staff is effectively communicated.
10% - Essential - Provide leadership to all staff in scheduling, preparation, and execution of reservations in all facilities of Campus Recreation. This involves event follow-up with the Campus Recreation staff as well as the customer.
5% - Essential - Serves as backup for special events and high profile events across campus recreation facilities including on-site operations and coordination of event logistics.
5% - Essential - Manage event staff including scheduling, payroll, and assisting with training and coordination of staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree Work Experience - engagement with students; awareness of promotion and presentation skills
