The researcher works on a multidisciplinary project involving the encapsulation of anti-microbial peptides to replace antibiotics for infection treatment in the mammalian cell bioreactor. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
70% - Essential: Primarily in charge of synthesize the nanoparticles to encapsulate the peptides and test the antimicrobial properties of the peptides; will be in charge of testing the encapsulated peptides in the mammalian bioreactor.
15% - Essential: Responsible for preparing reports for the funding agencies and presentations for the grantees meetings.
10% - Essential: Assists in training new students in the laboratory and assist them with experiments and data analysis.
5% - Essential: Assists in preparing manuscripts and working on new proposals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School or Equivalent and work experience in a clinical or research setting.
Work Experience: 1+ years

Education: Doctoral / Professional Degree
