About the Role:
In support of the customer’s strategic direction,, we are looking for individuals with intermediate level ServiceNow Developer experience to support custom application development. The ServiceNow Developer is a technical resource possessing ServiceNow administration capability and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. The ServiceNow Application Developer has a software development background in addition to ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow.
What You’ll Do
Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows.
Design, develop, and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with lead and Ops team
Develop and implement solutions using Service Portal, including UI Macros, Widgets, and Themes
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.
Develop common UI components for re-use across the application portfolio, leveraging JS libraries.
Ensure code follows architectural standards and future direction.
Develop bi-directional custom API integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
Write Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, etc., to meet client needs Responsibilities include testing and deploying application to different environment.
Develop reports both using ServiceNow and Power BI to meet business needs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least 3 years of direct development experience with ServiceNow
At least 3 years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow process workflows.
At least 3 years of experience configuring and customizing all aspects of ServiceNow.
At least 3 years of experience with importing and exporting data to ServiceNow using data loads, transform maps and XMLs.
ServiceNow Service Portal and widgets development experience
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to stakeholders and document details.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired: Either a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification or a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
The Work Environment
This is a full-time remote opportunity. Since this is a remote role, must have a dedicated workspace conducive to full videoconferencing (camera and audio) for facilitating webinars and online discussions.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position that typically works business hours Monday through Friday. Hours may vary depending on needs and may at times include travel, evenings, or weekends to meet specific project requirements.
Conditions of Employment

A valid US Driver’s license.
Security Clearance/Background Check Requirements

Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.
Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
