Position Summary:

You will join a small application development team which typically consist of a product manager, UX designer, QA, and 2-4 software engineers. You will participate in our agile software development process to brainstorm and build amazing products that are highly desirable by our customers. You are somebody who loves coding, has a good grasp of computer science concepts, and is eager to learn new skills while contributing to a fast-moving company.

Key Responsibilities:

You will participate in all stages of the application development process from conception through release, including:

Scope

• You complete stories, tasks, and bugs of a larger project producing well-written solution proposals and pull-requests.
• You write readable code adhering to community and company style-guide conventions and methodologies.
• You actively participate in team rituals and processes.
• You observe on-call rotation, incident management, and post-mortems.
• You seek out mentorship and soak up opportunities for learning.

Skills & Experience

• You have a great understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, trade-off analysis, and algorithms.
• You bring strong knowledge of languages, tools, and frameworks from previous experiences.
• You are capable of carrying out small, isolated technical projects on your own.
• You can communicate your understanding of a problem and your proposed solutions well.
• You have a good handle on the development processes and tools employed by your team.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid role, with consideration for candidates open to relocation.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S or M.S in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  
• 2+ years of software development experience in a cloud environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to flourish with minimal guidance.
• Bonus: React, JavaScript with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes.

What We Offer:

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.

The annual salary range for this role is: $83,200- $124,800. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
