The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking an Accreditation Manager to join our team of professionals.
Duties:
Maintain proficiency in accreditation, board, and/or institutional requirements.
Advise program leaders on issues related to requirements from accreditation agencies, boards, national/state organizations.
Critically evaluate program policies to ensure alignment with institutional and accreditation requirements.
Assist programs in developing program-level policies and review program-level policies developed by programs for compliance with ACGME requirements.
Manage oversight of the annual institutional and program evaluation action item lists.
Critically evaluate program information to help create responses for Annual Program Director Questionnaire.
Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to facilitate institutional orientation for new trainees, including ACGME program site visits, and Clinical Learning Environment
Review (CLER) site visits.
Ensure required ACGME trainings are completed, while scheduling is managed by program staff.
Review work hour reports and explanations of violations from programs to ensure compliance.
Partner with program directors on program management challenges, improvement methods, and recommendations.
Conduct internal mock site visits to help programs prepare for ACGME site visits.
Develop and deliver training on accreditation requirements for program directors and coordinators.
Monitor changes in ACGME requirements and proactively inform programs of necessary adjustments.
Facilitate sharing of best practices related to accreditation among programs.
Liaises with Office of Academic Planning and Accountability
Performs other related duties are required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically
related to the position.
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree and two (2) years of experience.
Desired QualificationsBachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in GME accreditation or GME, preferably in an
academic setting.
