We are hiring a Warehouse Coordinator to coordinate construction material receiving, documentation, and storage; locate and issue job site material; and oversee delivery of materials to job sites and customer locations in Hyattsville, MD.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure all items are stored according to field work procedures and company standards.
Prepare and maintain current inventory records for materials received, stored, issued and transferred off-site.
Order materials and maintain stock material inventory, monitor minimum levels, and prepare purchase requisitions when stock is below minimum level.
Make construction material deliveries to job sites and customer locations.
Perform physical inventory against inventory control records to ensure accuracy.
Inspect warehouse for cleanliness, etc.
Perform data entry and recordkeeping duties as needed.
Occasional operation of fork trucks.
Required Qualifications:
6 months material control/warehouse experience or related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Excellent organization and recordkeeping skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in related field.
2+ years of warehouse experience.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is strongly preferred.
