Material Handler/ Cycle Counter
This position is located in our Yadkinville, NC Facility and is posted for 1st Shift (7am-3pm; Monday-Friday)

This position has a focus to ensure all quantities, within JDE, match the physical quantities in storage at the Yadkinville facility through continuous cycle counts. This position works with department peers and managers to research discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
Use forklift and walkie to locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed
Conducts cycle count inventory on a scheduled basis for plant operations, warehouse and receiving.
Maintains inventory by cycle count for all non-inventory and consumable materials.
Support the execution of the O&D Process for the Yadkinville Facility by assisting with destructions as needed
Responsible for assisting with external audits; as needed. Works closely with management team to maintain required compliance
Reports missing cases, and damaged or mislabeled products, to appropriate departments. Works with department supervisors to correct issues.
Assists in daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle counts as required. Required participant for annual physical inventory
Maintains forklift equipment by completing pre-use inspection paperwork.
General housekeeping and specific sanitation task are also required.
Responsible for reporting all food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Enforces plant GMP’s and Food Safety policies/procedures & conducts lock downs, to products, based on food safety or quality reasons
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Knowledge of Warehouse Information Systems Required
Basic Computer Software Skills Required
Forklift License Certification Required
Reading/Math Comprehension Abilities
Good Communication Skills, Both Oral & Written, with the Ability to Perform those Skills in a Neat, Organized & Meaningful Technique
Attention to Detail & Capability to Work Independently
Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly
Decision Making Abilities and Handling of Multiple Priorities
Ability to be Entrusted with Confidential Information and Materials
