About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for supporting the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of autonomous vehicles. You will be working closely with the engineering team to fabricate parts, cable harnesses, consult on design decisions with regards to manufacturability, and installation. Work within a team and provide feedback on operations within the group.

Support fabrication of prototype hardware.Fabricate cable and harness subassemblies.Provide design feedback to engineering with regards to manufacturability and serviceability.Help vet and redline mechanical and electrical drawing packages.Develop manufacturing processes and assembly work instructions.Integrate hardware designs onto vehicle platforms.Build and install electrical components.Qualifications

Technical degree or certification in automotive technology, robotics, or a related field.Experience working with autonomous vehicles or driver-assistances systems (ADAS).Experience executing with command line Linux tools for computer and system configuration.Education & Experience
3+ years of experience in automotive or industrial repair.Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
US Hourly Range:
$37/hr - $42/hr

Location:
On-Site - Clarksburg, MD
Occasional travel may be required.

The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more.
