· Improve work methods and tooling

· Perform manual machining of production parts
· Use hydraulic drill press, band saw, belt sander, Acer mill, hem saw, MITRE saw, Omni crane, Acer lathe, Abell Crane, cut off saw, disc sander, Victor lathe, Bridgport mill, Gorbel crane, bench grinder, and Supertec surface grinder
· Using hand tools, drills, calipers, heat guns, Drimel tool, die grinders, protractors, micrometers, height gages, bench center, dial indicators, blind rivet guns, air glue gun, torque wrenches, flare tool, nutsert installation tools and bore gauges/bore rings
· Use work orders, drawings and/or schematics to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, equipment to be used, dimensions and tolerances
· Measure and examine completed work pieces to verify conformance, and check for marred surfaces
· Drill, countersink, and ream holes in parts and assemblies for bolts, screws and other fasteners
· Rework or alter component model or parts as required to ensure that products meet standards
· Perform weekly checklist
· Set up, operate and tend machines
· Read and answer email daily
· Clock in and out of bar codes to begin and complete work orders
· Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
· Wearing the proper safety equipment
· Smoothly form flat sheets of material on to curved surfaces of molds.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ability to read, and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and reports, drawings and schematics Ability to write and/or type routine correspondence or reports. The ability to perform simple shop math including use of decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure. The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted knowledge of mechanics, metal properties and machining.
