Controls Maintenance Technician

Speedway, IN, United States | req21592 1st shift - (7:00am-3:30pm)









What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will direct maintenance support of the product line assigned to you and will be considerably involved in the production process

  • You will develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for mechanical systems to ensure reliability and performance

  • You will provide hands-on technical support to production and maintenance teams in resolving mechanical issues and process-related challenges

  • You will lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address mechanical failures and production downtime

  • You will train and mentor production and maintenance personnel on mechanical processes, safe work practices, and proper equipment operation

What makes you great


  • A High School diploma / GED is required

  • 5 – 7 years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial process environment required

  • The ideal candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Extensive experience with hands-on troubleshooting and installing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (experience with vacuum and plasma coating systems preferred)

  • Experience with Allen Bradley operating systems (preferred) and basic knowledge of ladder logic troubleshooting and programming

  • You have a proven ability to manage multiple tasks at one time

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
